Title
Brezhnev was the Soviet Leader from 1964-1982 who pushed the Brezhnev doctrine, a law which allowed Soviet intervention in the satellite states which were not following the Communist regime. He was initially regarded as a more forgiving leader, but ultimately he turned out to be much more strict that Khrushchev.
